The Story

In an epic swirl of magic, Jack Frost loses the magical scarf that gives him the power to usher in Winter. Without it, the cycle of the seasons will be broken.

Juniper, a young kid with a big imagination, is taking a walk with her family. When her parents share that their family will be moving to a new home, Juniper is very upset and dashes away to hide in a nearby rock formation. Peeking out from a crack in the rocks is a bright blue scarf with an intricate sparkle pattern. When Juniper picks it up to examine it, her little sister January sneaks up, snatches it, and starts a tug-of-war. The girls’ parents separate them and Juniper reluctantly leaves the scarf where she found it. As the family walks away, a Leaf sneaks over to nab the scarf and deliver it to Sara, the powerful Autumn Witch.

Back home and packing her belongings, Juniper notices a peculiar magic residue left on her hands and, with a flourish, accidentally summons a Snow Sprite! When January runs into the room chased by another Sprite, chaos ensues. As more and more Sprites gather and encircle the girls, Jack Frost arrives and regains control, having sensed the magic from the scarf and traced it to their home. Demanding the scarf back, Jack realizes Juniper no longer has it and is disheartened.

Everyone gathers to comfort Jack and hear his tale. He explains that only a Seasonal Being could possess the power to steal the scarf, and the team works out a plan to retrieve it. Jack, Juniper, and January must search through the other Seasons’ homesteads to locate the scarf and return it to Jack before a seasonless era begins…
