SCHEDULE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 10-11

THE PRIMARY DIVISION for ages 3 to 7

Tippy Toes (ages 3 & 4) and Tippy Toes 2 (ages 4 & 5)
are creative movement classes which invite children to dance through the use of fun music, rhythm games, and storytelling. Scarves, bean bags, hula hoops, and fans are used to enhance the child's exploration of shape, level, and the dynamics of movement.

Pre-Ballet 1 (ages 5 & 6) continues the fun and games, while introducing basic dance positions and movement skills.

Pre-Ballet 2 (ages 6 & 7) builds on Pre-Ballet 1 and introduces students to the ballet barre.

Intro to Modern (ages 6 & 7) complements the Ballet program with its use of free and expressive movement.

Intro to Tap (ages 6 & 7) emphasizes rhythm making and performance style.

Please note: Classes in bold italics will be held in the new Annex Studio, 1952 Dempster, Evanston Plaza

All Primary classes are 45 minutes
